Sic Bo Rules & Strategy

The game of Sic Bo originates in China, Asia and means 'dice pair'. Three dice are used in the game and the objective is to make a bet on a certain kind of dice roll result. Once the dice are rolled and the outcome is the one you bet on, then you win.

While playing online, you need to follow some simple instructions to play the game. First Click on a chip of desired value to select it. Then click on any bet area on the table to place your bet. Every click on the area adds one chip to the bet. Select another chip if you wish to increase the bet by some other amount. Right clicking on the area removes one chip. You can place several chips into several areas at the same time. Then Click the Roll button. Dice are rolled and you will see the outcome. Click New Game if you wish to play again. Place your bets as described above and click Roll. You can also click Rebet to place the same bet as in the previous round.

There are many types of bets in Sic Bo and multiple bets can be placed simultaneously.

Number Bet - This means that you want a specific number to appear on as many dice as possible. Select a number between 1 and 6 and place your chip(s) on the corresponding area. If the chosen number appears once your bet pays 1 to 1, if it appears twice your bet pays 2 to 1 and if it appears thrice your bet pays 3 to 1.

Small/Big Bet - Small Bet is the total sum of the three dice is 4 to 10. Big Bet is a total of 11 to 18. Neither Small nor Big Bet wins if the three dice are of three of a kind (same number). The payoff ratio is 1 to 1.

Pair Bet- Here you have to make a bet on any of the 15 possible two dice combinations If both numbers appear, your bet pays 5 to 1.

Double Bet: This bet is for a certain pair to appear. If at least two of the number chosen appears, you win 10 to 1.

Triple Bet: This is for a specific trio. If this happens you win 180 to 1.

Any Triple: If all three dice have the same number you win. The winning ratio here is 30 to 1

Total Bet - Total bet means you want the total sum of the three dice to be a specific amount. Possible totals are from 4 to 17 only. The pay ratios for the total bet depends on the sum:
